Camino de Santiago Guide

Welcome to Follow the Yellow Shell: Your Pilgrimage Companion on the Camino de Santiago!

Hi, I’m Mark Stevens! I live for long distance walking and  when it comes to walking adventures and amazing experiences, I’ve got it nailed.

Eight years ago, I discovered the Camino de Santiago after watching the movie ‘The Way’ featuring Martin Sheen and haven’t looked back since.

At Follow the Yellow Shell, we understand the unique allure and spiritual significance of the Camino de Santiago. I’m passionate about supporting and guiding fellow walkers on their transformative journey along this ancient pilgrimage route. Whether you’re embarking on your first pilgrimage or returning for another profound experience, I’m here to accompany you every step of the way.

Follow the Yellow Shell was born out of my personal love for the Camino de Santiago and the profound impact it has had on my life. My mission is to provide pilgrims like you with the necessary resources, guidance and support to ensure a meaningful and transformative Camino experience.

With years of personal pilgrimage experience and a deep connection to the Camino community, I’m well-equipped to assist you in planning and undertaking your pilgrimage. I’ve walked the Camino 6 times on various routes, embraced the camaraderie of fellow pilgrims, and discovered the hidden treasures that make the Camino de Santiago a life-changing journey.
