Nous nous sommes fait plaisir et avons eu une chambre priv\u00e9e, nous avons donc tr\u00e8s bien dormi.<\/p><p>Nous nous sommes lev\u00e9s t\u00f4t et sommes partis sur la route \u00e0 7 heures. C'\u00e9tait grandiose !<\/p><p>Nous avions pr\u00e9vu de nous arr\u00eater pour prendre le petit-d\u00e9jeuner dans quelques villages, mais ils \u00e9taient tous ferm\u00e9s. Certains villages sont tr\u00e8s rudimentaires avec du bois de chauffage empil\u00e9 \u00e0 l'ext\u00e9rieur. Elle compte environ 3 500 habitants et se trouve sur les rives de la rivi\u00e8re Burbia.\u00a0<\/p><p>C'est un arr\u00eat populaire sur le <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/followtheyellowshell.com\/fr\/camino-frances\/\">Camino Frances<\/a><\/strong> et il a une riche histoire et un riche patrimoine culturel.<\/p><p>L'un des principaux attraits de Villafranca del Bierzo est son magnifique centre historique, class\u00e9 Site historique et artistique.\u00a0<\/p><p>Le centre-ville pr\u00e9sente des rues \u00e9troites bord\u00e9es de maisons m\u00e9di\u00e9vales et de palais, dont certains datent du XVIe si\u00e8cle.\u00a0<\/p><p>La Plaza Mayor, la place principale, est particuli\u00e8rement belle avec ses b\u00e2timents \u00e0 arcades et sa mairie du XVIIe si\u00e8cle. La ville est connue pour sa sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9 locale, le botillo, qui est un type de saucisse \u00e0 base de c\u00f4tes et de viande de porc, de chorizo et d'autres assaisonnements.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Pour ceux qui s'int\u00e9ressent \u00e0 l'histoire, Villafranca del Bierzo compte plusieurs sites int\u00e9ressants, dont l'\u00e9glise de Santiago du XIIe si\u00e8cle, qui poss\u00e8de un magnifique portail roman.<\/p>\n<p>Il y a aussi un ch\u00e2teau \u00e0 Villafranca del Bierzo appel\u00e9 Castillo de los Marqueses de Villafranca, qui date du XVe si\u00e8cle et abrite aujourd'hui un mus\u00e9e. \u00e0 Las Herrerias, un charmant petit village.<\/p><p>Nous avons d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de passer une nuit \u00e0 Las Herrerias car il y a une mont\u00e9e abrupte de 6 km juste \u00e0 la sortie du village, donc nous gardons cela pour une ascension matinale.<\/p><p>Nous avons tous faim et envie d'une bi\u00e8re, alors nous nous sommes d\u00e9faits de nos affaires, douch\u00e9s et pr\u00eats \u00e0 sortir pour nous reposer et nous d\u00e9tendre.\u00a0<\/p><p>Il n'y a qu'un seul petit restaurant dans le village avec quelques tables en ext\u00e9rieur et nous nous sommes d\u00e9tendus pendant quelques heures et avons jou\u00e9 aux cartes.
